HealthEC – Defying Limitations in 2019 and a Look Ahead to 2020

2019 was a wonderful year for HealthEC! We were blessed to work alongside some of the industry’s most innovative and dedicated professionals, while partnering with a dynamic, forward-thinking customer base that is second to none. With an emphasis and focus on strategic growth, product and professional development, as well as having fun, we accomplished some truly amazing things.

On the product front, CMS certified HealthEC’s Universal Data Warehouse and Decision Support System, making it eligible for Re-use under CMS 2392-F.

In line with our efforts to highlight the profound impact that social determinants of health (SDoH) have on the delivery of healthcare, we also launched our SDoH Holistic Healthcare Approach module.

Other product launches included a comprehensive Opioids Module which combines actionable date analytics with care management applications, and our four key product market modules – Medicaid and Public Sector, Payers and Providers, Behavioral Health, and Self-Funded Organizations.

In terms of industry partnerships, HealthEC, LabCorp, and the New Jersey Primary Care Association announced a strategic alliance to advance a value-based care operational model to Community Health Centers. We also launched a strategic partnership with Open Minds, a business solutions firm specializing in health and human services, to develop behavioral-health-oriented modules and provide educational resources and associated services to the populace.

With regards to 2019 industry recognition, HealthEC was named Best in KLAS for population health product delivery by KLAS Research, the leading healthcare IT research firm focused on population health. We were also cited in KLAS’s population health care management performance report for being the only provider among the 13 vendors reviewed in the survey to have all the KLAS-validated vendor capabilities for social determinants of health.

Other highlights included helping our accountable care organization partners generate over $64.9 million in Medicare shared savings and being named a top-25 finalist out of over 300 applicants in the CMS Artificial Intelligence Challenge.

As great as 2019 was for us, we anticipate 2020 to be even better. We are truly grateful for the successes and blessings of the past, but in 2020 we are looking forward to an unbridled spirit of creativity, customer interaction, and a culture of giving back to those less fortunate than ourselves. As we make it a daily practice of defying limitations, we cordially invite you to join us in these experiences and become a member of our family.  Blessings to you all.
